The 2020 Global Blockchain Innovation Development Conference & the 2nd International Engineering Science and Technology Innovation Forum were successfully convened.

On August 14, 2020, the "2020 Global Blockchain Innovation and Development Conference" and the "Second International Engineering Science and Technology Innovation Forum," co-hosted by the ISEFC, the Jiangxi Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, and the Ganzhou Municipal People's Government, were successfully convened in Ganzhou City.The conference gathered industry representatives from countries along the Belt and Road Initiative, renowned experts and scholars from both domestic and abroad, as well as representatives from well-known blockchain enterprises and industry associations, totaling approximately 360 individuals. The aim is to showcase the blockchain development achievements in the revolutionary base areas, gather talents, technology, and other innovative resources, deepen foreign exchanges and cooperation, and establish the global blockchain brand of Jiangxi.

Chen Yuan, former Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and former Chairman of the National Development Bank, Li Meng, former Vice Chairman of the CPPCC, Li Bingjun, Deputy Secretary of the Jiangxi Provincial Party Committee and Municipal Party Secretary, Chen Xi, Chairman of the ISEFC, CAE Member Zheng Weimin, and Liang Baojun, Deputy General Manager of China Unicom Group, along with other leaders and experts, attended the conference and delivered important speeches.

At this conference, the ISEFC held the unveiling ceremony for the "China Blockchain Think Tank", as well as the launch ceremonies for the "Blockchain Innovation Development Special Public Welfare Fund" and the "White Paper on the layout of Fortune Global 500 Enterprises in blockchain (2020)". The conference also officially released blockchain application service platforms such as Ganzhou Chain, Navel Orange Chain, Furniture Chain, and Long March Chain, as well as the Jiangxi Provincial Blockchain Industry Alliance and the Ganzhou Blockchain Research Institute.

The 'China Blockchain Think Tank' is an unincorporated internal public-benefit academic organization initiated by the ISEFC.Led by academicians from both domestic and international institutions such as Wu Hequan, Zheng Weimin, Zheng Zhiming, Wang Xiaoyun, Rong Chunming, and Liang Zhongming, it was co-founded with the invitation of numerous experts and entrepreneurs from the blockchain industry both domestically and internationally. Its primary objective is to adhere to its mission of advancing science and technology for public benefit and to implement the national blockchain development strategy.

On the evening of August 13th, the ISEFC invited experts and entrepreneurs from the blockchain field to convene a closed-door preparatory meeting for the "China Blockchain Think Tank." Chen Xi, the Chairman of the ISEFC and the Honorary Chairman of the China Blockchain Think Tank, along with Zheng Weimin, an CAE Member and the Chairman of the China Blockchain Think Tank, delivered important speeches. Simultaneously, Wu Hequan, an CAE Member and the Honorary Chairman of the China Blockchain Think Tank, and Rong Chunming, an academician from the Norwegian Engineering Academy and the Co-Chairman of the China Blockchain Think Tank, extended their congratulations on the establishment of the think tank via video. Li Kedeng, the Secretary-General of the China Blockchain Think Tank, gave a detailed report to the attending experts on the objectives, vision, organizational structure, and work plans of the think tank.

ISEFC, leveraging the opportunity provided by the "2020 Global Blockchain Sustainable Development Conference," will establish long-term strategic partnerships with Ganzhou City in the blockchain technology and related fields. By fully utilizing the high-end intellectual resources of the ISEFC, we aim to support the innovative development of the blockchain industry in Jiangxi Province and Ganzhou City through technological philanthropy. Additionally, the China Blockchain Think Tank will unite renowned experts, scholars, and related institutions from both domestic and international blockchain sectors through technological philanthropy.
